Theme Park Archive is not affiliated with any entity in the theme park / entertainment industry. It is an independent news and travel web site.
Before Theme Park Archive, we worked on Geauga Guide which was the premier fan site for Geauga Lake. After the park was closed down, we regrouped and widened our focus to promote theme parks in general. The entire photo archive from Geauga Guide has been moved to this site.
Since 2013, our mission has been to archive and promote theme parks by celebrating how things change. We believe that the site contains one of the largest photo collections of theme parks and our intention to continue to grow and share our travels with you.
This website is developed with the help of some great technologies.
We use PHP and MySQL to power our website. All photo gallery code was custom written by us for the site.
Our hosting is provided by DreamHost.
The blog is backed by WordPress.
Our responsive UI benefits from Bootstrap.
We are able to provide access to our instagram posts and videos through the developer programs from Facebook and Google.
