PITTSBURGH, PA: October 28, 2024 – The nose is the news this Holiday Lights season at Kennywood, Pittsburgh’s Home for the Holidays, as the park introduces the largest expansion ever to its beloved event headlined by the addition of meet and greets with iconic characters from the classic TV special, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Featuring more -than five all-new ways to celebrate the holidays, Kennywood will shine brighter with more than three million lights, Pennsylvania’s tallest Christmas tree, more rides and more Holiday Lights operating days than ever before.  

PITTSBURGH, PA: SEPT. 13, 2024 – Kennywood’s Phantom Fall Fest creeps out of the shadows for six weeks of terror beginning Friday, September 20. This season, the park’s annual Halloween event takes screams to the extreme with spine-tingling scares, more frightening fun and the biggest ride lineup yet for its 22^nd season. Phantom Fall Fest features more than 30 attractions including six horrifying haunts, four sinister scare zones, more than 100 scare actors and terrifying rides in the dark.

PITTSBURGH, PA (April 3, 2024): Kennywood, a USA Today 10 Best Theme Park, today revealed park improvements and additions, a new local partnership and brand-new entertainment for its 126th season beginning Saturday, April 20. The park’s upcoming year highlights feature the all-new Potato Smash bumper cars, brand-new food and beverage locations, parkwide enhancements and an all-new special event.

PITTSBURGH, PA [October 30, 2023] – Kennywood– Pittsburgh’s Home for the Holidays – is decking the halls even earlier this year with the biggest and brightest Holiday Lights ever during the park’s 125^th season. The magically merry event will now kick off Saturday, November 18 – one weekend earlier than planned.  Featuring more than two million twinkling lights and the tallest Christmas Tree in Pennsylvania, this year’s event will be highlighted by an all-new Santa experience in Thomas Town™.
