Epcot is the second theme park built as part of the Walt Disney World Resort. The name stands for Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow. This was the last theme park that Walt Disney had a hand in creating. Epcot was initially supposed to be a protoype utopian city. What it involved into was a park with two distinct sections: Future World and the World Showcase. Future World contains different pavilions representing advances in science and technology. The World Showcase consists of pavilions representing specific countries.
