Hello from Carowinds! We're here to check out Grand Carnivale!
This past weekend we were invited by Carowinds to check out their third annual Grand Carnivale summer festival event. If you haven't heard of it before, Grand Carnivale is a Mardi Gras-esque nighttime party event full of fun. There are special shows, an international themed food festival and elaborate parade that all combine to make up the event.
At Carowinds, most of the Grand Carnivale activities take place around the entrance plaza of the park. We got a chance to sample some food, check out some entertainment and see the vibrant parade floats. It was a high energy event to say the least.
