After an extra year of anticipation, Catapult Falls is finally opening at SeaWorld San Antonio. The ride is being marketed as the world's first flume coaster. Manufactured by Intamin, Catapult Falls features two world's first elements: a 30 ft / second launch and the steepest drop for a flume at 53 degrees.
Catapult Falls has an outdoor theme featuring many nods to both camping and the San Antonio area. The attraction is located on the site of the former Texas Splashdown ride nestled between Penguin Encounter and Wave Breaker. Catapult Falls opens March 2nd.
