Hello from Cedar Point on this chilly February morning.
This year Cedar Point once again hosted an offseason tour for some of its biggest fans. Employees of Cedar Fair and Cedar Point volunteer their time and guests can attend by making a donation. All proceeds from the event go to A Kid Again and this year over $120,000 was raised.
This year the event was ran in a guided your format. There was snow on the ground making it a great chance to take some unique winter photos of the park.
Some of the highlights from this year include new information on these topics:
- Happy Friar is getting reimagined featuring a german village inspired exterior and indoor food ordering.
- CrossCurrent slides at Cedar Point Shores returns looking to be provided by WhiteWater.
- Famous Daves is moving from the Marina to the former Quaker Steak and Lube location next to Castaway Bay.
- Perimeter Road will be renamed Resort Drive and will get moved before Opening Day
- The 150 years sign in front of the park will be replaced with an evergreen sign.
- This year's Live Entertainment lineup will not include an outdoor stage show (with Celebration Plaza being removed), but all three indoor theaters will be used again.
- Siren's Curse and Top Thrill 2 will feature free lockers for small items. Metal Detection is coming to Siren's Curse.
- New digital signage is being placed around the park.
- Snake River Falls and Professor Delbert's Frontier Fling have been removed.

We're here for our 12th Winter Chill Out event! The park was very well organized today starting with no queueing outside the gate to get in.
We were part of the 8am tour group. Let's start the tour around the park. As usual, I'll try and point out what new projects are happening around the park.
Over at Jack Aldrich will be a new show. More on this towards the end of this update.
Looks like some things at the Funway Arcade are getting upgraded.
Chickie's & Pete's does not appear to be returning. A replacement has not been announced.
Throughout the park, new themed digital signage is being constructed similar to what we noticed at Kings Island last season. I'll try and point our all the new signs that were come across.
