Good morning from Kings Island. We got there bright and early as to not miss the morning ERT session.
In this photo update, we recount the events and festivities from the seventh edition of Coasterstock at Kings Island. Coasterstock is two day event featuring morning and evening ERT, guest speakers, behind-the-scenes tours and catered meals.
Every year the event offers something unique and such was the case this year as well. New events included entering the Beast double helix as well as being able to get a behind the scenes view of one of the train engines on the Kings Island & Miami Railroad.
In true Coasterstock fashion, rain threatened the event, but my most accounts held off until the final afternoon where there were scattered showers including one that ended up raining out the final half hour of night time riding. We were fortunate to win our first Social Media Rockstar award for our coverage of the event on Instagram.
The event is a blast and one of the best that are offered. This is one of the reasons we haven't missed a single event yet. Thanks to the staff of Kings Island for organizing such a great event!
