We're here at the Magic Kingdom on MLK day. Surprisingly the crowds were pretty low.
In today's photo update, we share photos we took this past MLK day when we visited Magic Kingdom to say goodbye to the current iteration of the Country Bear Jamboree. The ride is scheduled to imminently go under refurbishment reopening with new animatronics and a new show later this year. In this update we also go off the beaten path to explore Tow Sawyer Island for our first time.
Having gotten a virtual queue for Tron, we headed towards Tomorrowland first. The 50th logo has been covered up on all the golden statues across the park.
We had a few minutes to spare, so we took the opportunity to ride the Carousel of Progress.
I got to imagine TRON will be off virtual queue soon. Hopefully even before Tiana's Bayou Adventure opens.
The wait today was pretty long, though. Near and hour.
The culprit? The park was not loading the first and last car on most trains. Really odd.
The usual odds / evens loading system wasn't used.
