Hello from IAAPA Expo 2024! We're back to give you a rundown of what is new in the attractions and amusements industry.
In this photo update, we share what is new in the entertainment and attractions industry this year. We attended the 2024 IAAPA Expo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. This show brings together vendors and qualified buyers and is a true showcase of the current pulse of the industry.
We go aisle by aisle sharing what is interesting and new.
Show-stopping announcements this year included the unveil of the Canada's Wonderland AlpenFury front car from Premier Rides, Kings Dominion's Rapterra front car from B&M and a full announcement of what is coming to Vidanta World's BON luxury theme park resort including a coaster train reveal from Vekoma.

If you are not familiar with this show, this is IAAPA's (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) largest event each year. The organization is a trade organization promoting and offering services to industry partners.
The expo takes place on the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida typically every November and the show floor is typically sold out.
Throughout the 4 days the expo floor is open, there are several scheduled press conferences often made between vendors and their partner parks. Up first this year was an unveil from Premier Rides.
Premier Rides is building Canada's fastest, tallest and longest launch coaster this year at Canada's Wonderland.
It is not uncommon for large crowds to gather ahead of such announcements.
Representatives from Premier and Six Flags gave a briefing about the ride.
