The real excitement, however, was in Frontier Town this year.
In this photo update, we uncover some long lost captures of the construction of Maverick at Cedar Point. The beloved Intamin Blitz Coaster was built on the former site of White Water Landing in Frontier Town. Also included are some additional photos around Cedar Point from the opening weekend in 2006.
