We're here bright and early at Lake Compounce.
In this photo update, we share what's new at Lake Compounce in 2021. We visited the park as part of the National Amusement Park Historical Association's annual ParkHop event. The day included morning ERT on Wildcat and evening ERT on Boulder Dash. In between was a charity auction and a fun day at the park.
Lake Compounce was celebrating 175 years in operation. New this year was a rebranding and retheming focused on the park entrance area filled with lots of buildings repainted using a brighter color palette.
The highlight of the day was not surprisingly Boulder Dash. The ride was running great and in top 10 form. It's one of the best night rides around. Follow along as we take you around the park.
The park was celebrating its 175th anniversary with a new branding package.
Closer to the entrance, you can find a carousel horse that looks very similar to the branding package Kennywood is getting this year.
