Our first Scarywood

In this photo update, we return to Silverwood Theme Park in northern Idaho. The park is a hidden gem featuring a tremendous set of attractions in a beautiful setting. We visited in late September during their first weekend of offering Silverwood this season. We were treated to what was one of the best halloween events we experienced all year. The haunted mazes were all top notch and the rest of the park was filled with tons of scareactors.

During Scarywood, several of the park's top attractions were operating including the new to us RMC single rail coaster Stunt Pilot. The park also ran Timber Terror backwards. The star of the show as hands down Tremors. We had several incredible night rides on what is most certainly a top 10 wooden coaster right now. RMC's 208 RetraK was used in a large part of the first half of the ride leading to an incredible smooth ride and sustained standing up out of your seat airtime. Can't say enough good things about Tremors and really Silverwood in general.
