Our first visit at Kentucky Kingdom under new ownership

In this photo update, we stop by Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, KY. Since our last visit, the park has been sold from private ownership to Herschend Family Entertainment. The park is expanding into seasonal events and also elongating its season offering a Christmas time event later this year. Over in the back of the park, progress is underway for what looks like some significant changes in future years. Follow along as we take you around this park.

Hello from Kentucky Kingdom!

We made a stop on our way home from the 2024 edition of Holiwood Nights.

This was our first time back since Herschend Family Entertainment took over the reigns of this park.

We made a clockwise loop around the park.

This park has had an interesting history under many owners. Each leaving a different mark on the park.

The park's attraction lineup generally has stagnated in recent years as the investments to the park have gone in the direction of upgraded infrastructure and expanded seasonal events.
