Six Flags Darien Lake Trip Report Photos Taken: 05/30/2021 Posted: 07/15/2021After being closed all of 2020 during the pandemic, in 2021 Six Flags Darien Lake reopened, and we visited during one of its first weeks of operation.
Pandemic protocols had not been fully lifted. Different rides had different policies from single households per ride to fully open. There didn't seem to be a lot of consistency. Staffing levels were low and operations were not very speedy.
Most rides had lines that were over hour waits so we didn't stay very long riding only Ride of Steel. We got a chance to try the new Mobile Ordering service. Worked great at Anchor Bar. Surprisingly the service stopped working at 5:00 PM meaning guests could not use if for dinner. Odd...
Anyways, follow along as we take you around the park. Wasn't one of our best visits here, but certainly happy to see the park back open.
