Cedar Point hosted truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity opening its doors a month early to guests offering a chance to view a total solar eclipse from within the park or beach. For 6 hours on a Monday in early April, the park operated its Boardwalk area of the park including rides such as the Giant Wheel, GateKeeper, Wild Mouse and maXair as well as put on some special eclipse related educational activities. The park also offered a ticket that included an opportunity to view the eclipse from the top of Valravn.
