Kings Dominion Trip Report Photos Taken: 07/04/2021 Posted: 12/28/2021In this photo update, we return to Kings Dominion to check out the new Coconut Shores expansion in Soak City, eat a meal at Grain and Grill and check out the construction progress in Safari Village.
Our visit coincided with one of the day's that the park held on of their annual Fourth of July fireworks shows. Due to staffing levels caused by the ongoing pandemic, the show took place at 7pm when it was still bright outside.
Nevertheless, we had a great time at the park, and hope to visit again.

The theater looks to be closed this year with the focus being brining the entertainment outdoors.
Blue Ridge Tollway - Kings Dominion

Blue Ridge Tollway has one of the best antique car courses out there.

Sadly the line for Grizzly was long and it wasn't on Fast Lane so we missed it this visit.
