We experience Pumpkin Fest at Conneaut Lake

This past weekend we visited Conneaut Lake Park on what felt like it may be the last time rides are operational at the park. The park was moderately busy due to the annual Pumpkin Fest happening at the park, but the amount of attractions left operating was minimal. Remaining park souvenirs were being sold at closeout prices.

Through it all, the Devils Den remains the park's last shining star. The classic Pretzel dark ride is in top form and consistently drew in guests.

All the buildings on the midway closest to the lake were torn down. Doesn't look too bad when a festival is going on, but I imagine it would look barren on other days.
