We experience the new Lakemont Park

Since our last visit, there are less rides and more public recreation areas. None-the-less, the park's two classic roller coasters: Skyliner and Leap the Dips are still running well and strong.

Skyliner is built right next to the Altoona Curve minor league baseball team's stadium.

To be honest, the entire ride seems to be well maintained. From the lift one could see the Pittsburgh Pirates alternate site team practicing (no minors this year).
