Hello from Kennywood! We're here to check out what's new at the park this year.
In this photo update, we take you around Kennywood as the park celebrates its 125th anniversary. During the second year of its big party, the park introduced a new Zamperla Gryphon ride, Spinvasion, to a newly themed area of the park called Area 412. Themed to an alien invasion, Spinvasion is neighbors with a newly repainted Cosmic Chaos Disk'O ride and the Gift Ship.
Other new additions for 2023 include several shops and restaurants getting rethemed or introduced including Primanti Bros, Pizza Warehouse, Fire Breathing Sausage, Bilzzard Blast Creamery and 1898 Coffee Co. Last, but not least, Swing Shot received a vibrant new color scheme.

The centerpiece of the park's second year of celebrating 125 years is a new Zamperla Gryphon ride named Spinvasion.
Naturally we headed to check out the new attraction, and rethemed surrounding area first.
Spinvasion is the first ride of its type in North America.
The theming of the Area 412 section of the park extends to cover Cosmic Chaos and the Gift Ship.
Cosmic Chaos was recently repainted.
As well, the gift shop here got a mild retiming to solidify itself as a ship. :)
