After 4 years of waiting, Aquaman: Power Wave, the first Mack Rides PowerSplash coaster in the US is finally open the year. In this visit to Six Flags over Texas we got an opportunity to ride this new attraction. It is located in the Boom Town section of the park on the former site of the Aquaman Splashdown Shoot-the-Chutes ride.

Other new additions since our last visit include Casa Magnetica, Pirates of Speelunker Cave and the return of Mr. Freeze. Six Flags over Texas also features several signature attractions including New Texas Giant, Titan and Shock Wave.

We visited during the park's Pride festival.

One thing we immediately noticed was that the park looked more refreshed with many buildings appearing to have been recently painted.

This was the primary reason for our visit. Aquaman was finally open!

The attraction jets out onto the main midway and fully takes up the place of its predecessor.
