Six Flags Over Georgia Trip Report Photos Taken: 03/15/2025 Posted: 04/06/2025The build up to the opening of Georgia Gold Rusher at Six Flags over Georgia has been a long time in the making. There was a naming contest, then delays, then a merger, another delay and a last minute retheme. We're happy to confirm that this new roller coaster has indeed opened in time for the 2025 season. We stopped by the park during its Season Passholder preview event. Follow along as we share our impressions soon this new ride as well as show you what's new at the park.
One area we hope gets improved soon is the entrance process.
A lot of the backup was caused by the placement of this one cone closing one of the entry gates. There was no attempt to control traffic.
Just need to be honest here and say that this entry way needs to be improved. A have a feeling that plans are in place to do so.
Goliath is sporting new colors. No longer is it orange.
Goliath looks great. That silly little tram, not so much.
The security and entrance processes were fairly streamlined. Did not notice a priority entrance for top level pass holders.
