We sneaked a peek at how the scare actors get in costume, sampled some seasonal treats, experienced every haunted attraction the park is offering this season and got a chance to see several new live entertainment offerings including one of two parades, Procession of Nightmares and the Conjure the Night closing show. And this is just the tip of the iceberg of what the Carowinds is offering this year. Read on to learn more about this classic fall event in the Carolinas.
On nights in September and October, the park turns haunted.
We got a behind the scenes look at how the park is able to get its staff of scare actors ready for the night ahead.
The park's haunted theming starts at the main gate and continue throughout most of the rest of the park. Only the Planet Snoopy / Camp Snoopy areas and Aeronautica Landing are left family friendly.
In the middle of the day on weekends the park hosts special fall themed family events.
