In this photo update, we visit Six Flags America on New Year's Eve 2019. It was a simpler time. The reason for our visit was to check out the stand-up to floorless conversion of Apocalypse to Firebird.
Much like was seen with Rougarou and Patriot, the conversion to floorless of Firebird isn't perfect, but provides an overall ride experience improvement.
While it is a little sad to see the stand-up coaster variant start to go away, it is exciting to see the lifetime of these rides get extended.
