In this photo update, we take you around Busch Gardens Williamsburg on New Year's Day. The Christmas Town seasonal event was still going on, which meant there were some special show offerings, the Christmas Town Express, Nacht Tower and of course lots and lots of lights.

As a bonus, during the middle of the day, we noticed that Pantheon was running test cycles as the park prepares for the ride's opening in March. Luckily we were able to take a bunch of photos of the ride traversing its circuit. The ride looks great, and we can't wait to experience it later this year.

The park has a new security screening process where there are two tiers of scanners.
